The 7th grade students in La Serena worked with cardboard, wire, and paint to
represent the following:
1. People should plant more trees and not engage in deforestation.
2. The government should help with regulations against industrial air and
water pollution.
3. People should conserve water and use it wisely.
The 8th grade students in La Serena worked in pencil and watercolor to represent
the following:
1. People should take care of the beautiful beaches and keep the water clean.
2. Bees are “holy insects” with their unique ability to pollinate so many of the
earth’s plants. Without bees, our food supply will disappear.
3. Industries must not pollute the air and water.
4. People should not waste precious water.
